Weddings should be celebrated!

Since 2014, Kelly Connell has been officiating weddings in Southwestern Michigan and Northern Indiana and helping couples and their guests celebrate their joyous day.  

 

Looking for an officiant for a large ceremony? Or maybe a simple elopement? Something in between the two? Kelly has performed hundreds of weddings of all types and sizes and works to reflect each couples’ tastes and traditions. Her goal is to give each couple a personalized ceremony that is positive, loving, and joyful with maybe a sprinkle of humor mixed in. Each wedding gets the same exemplary customer service and attention to make the ceremony what each couple dreams of. Unsure where to start with planning a ceremony? No need to worry or stress out. Kelly will walk you through each step of how the ceremony comes together, the license requirements, and be available for any questions couples may have.  

 

Kelly is a strong believer in marriage equality and has performed several same-sex weddings. She is LGBTQIA friendly and welcomes couples who may be apprehensive about finding an officiant that is not supportive of their union.  

 

She has performed all types of weddings from religious, secular, Wiccan handfastings, and those with a particular theme. She has experience with many cultural wedding aspects including the Hindu Agni - the Sacred Fire and the Saptapadi. Unity ceremonies she has performed include the  Celtic Knot, the Hand Ceremony, Handfasting, Sand Ceremony, Unity Candle, Glass Ceremony,  Tree planting, Sailors Knot, and Cord of Three. If you desire something she has not performed,  you only have to ask, and she will research it and make sure it is performed perfectly. If you are blending families and want to include your children, she has experience including them in a  meaningful way. Kelly spends time with each couple to create the ceremony they want.
